Getting Ready For Your Consultation

 First you will need to schedule a consultation to ensure we are a good match, Here is what you will need going forward with Pawsitive Dog Adventures

We are excited to  Meet you!

Coming into consultation we would like to see that all items are ready for your Pets profile 

​

Prior to consultation, I will send you an email. This email is your portal information. Your portal and pet profile are to be filled out completely before the first service is to start. Services will be cancelled until all necessary information is complete.

 

Items to have Ready for the Initial Consultation/Meet & Greet:​​

  • A 4x6 photo of each individual animal your pet care provider will be caring for, this includes fish tanks and small animal cages (as 1 photo per cage/tank) all animals must be visible.

  • Be ready to make payment to hold service spots.

  • Copies of All vaccinations, flea treatments, licenses, registrations, spay/neuter records

  • An extra key/entry to where your pet care provider will be picking up and dropping off your pup(s).

 

A registration fee of $25 will be added if above items are not fully collected on consultation: Your Pet Care Provider will make a key copy and  take a photo of all animals: Service will not start until all animals in household files are complete.

Initial Consultation/Meet & Greet

 

This is our first appointment, scheduled by phone. It is a time for me to meet your dog, greet your dog in his/her environment and have your dog meet other dogs (as necessary due to service expectations) to ensure everyone plays nice. I evaluate the dog’s temperament from a checklist of pros and cons from all of my experience as a pet care professional to be able to group “Like” dogs together.

 

We are a flea FREE Zone, I take this time to screen for fleas as well as overall health of the dog/animal(s) in care. We review the information provided on the Member Information forms and ensure all vaccination requirements are met, collect documents, keys and payment for services. This appointment takes approximately 15 minutes-1 hour with extra questions you may have for me. On this appointment, Please make sure you provide a Key and an extra entry

Some Questions I may ask:

If rescued, do we know any kind of background about the pup?

Is your dog socialized with other dogs/cats/animals?

Does your pup frequent and like the dog park?

Does your pup have toy/ball possession issues?

Has your pup ever had any issues at fault or not?

Is your pup a shy dog around other pups/new people?

How old is your pup?

How long have you owned your pup?

Does your pup have any dietary allergies?

Does your pup have any health issues I would need to be concerned about?

​

Does your pup live with and like children?

​

Has your pup had any formal training? 

Does your pup have a good recall and know common commands?

​

 

This is a FREE Consultation and will not be billed.
